WITH MAKING IT OUT
A chance to get your staff team together for a unique day of creative making.
​
Working with a variety of different disciplines you will get the chance to learn traditional and modern art and craft techniques and to put these new skills into practice to create a quality artefact.
​
We'll help you to create something unique to your organisation...this could be individual objects for staff to take home or a large collaborative piece for display somewhere.
​
We offer a range of a different creative disciplines including carpentry, blacksmithing, metal fabrication, ceramics, painting, printing, sculpture and use of our giant laser cutter.
​
On the day you will be guided by MIO participants and staff who are keen to share their skills and ensure you have an enjoyable and memorable day.
Recent groups to attend have made a wide variety of artefacts and artworks including:

Table tennis bats,

Chopping boards,

Enamelled jewellery,

Relief sculptures and

Garden tools

But we are happy to explore all manner of possibilities to find something suitable to your needs.

When 'The Real Junk Food Project' came to us for the day and got stuck straight in to making some bespoke chopping boards.

It was a wonderful day in a beautiful setting. Having a chance to try copper enamelling was great and quite a unique activity. I liked the easy going structure and the lunch was phenomenal. Thank you!

Koestler Arts is a fantastic charity who work to enable the arts across the criminal justice system.

Their day with Making it Out was orchestrated by Sean, one of our staff who had previously volunteered with Koestler.
​
They spent the day making enamelled jewellery and painting some individual artworks for display in their office.
